Presents Penn State's Electronic Classics Series Hentzner and Naunton Page.

From this site you can download Travels in England during the Reign of Queen Elizabeth by Paul Hentzner (1558 - 1623: German) and Fragmenta Regalia by Sir Robert Naunton (d. 1632) in Adobe's ® Acrobat ® Portable Document File format.
These two works together are accounts of England during the Reign of Queen Elizabeth by contemporaries. Hentzner, a German, traveled in England during the years 1597 to 1600; Sir Robert Naunton was a friend of the Earl of Essex during Elizabeth's reign. As such they were also contemporaries of Shakespeare.
