ATTENDANCE AND CLASS CONDUCT POLICIES

Return to INART 1

Due to sequential development of skills and rapidly-changing content material, regular class attendance is necessary to do well in this course.

Penn State University has clear policies and standards regarding student conduct. It is my aim to maintain a class environment where active participation and the freedom to ask questions are encouraged. Disruptive behavior, such as late arrival to class and talking out of turn (especially while music is playing), does a disservice to those in the class who actively participate and who respect course standards. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated; those who violate class conduct policies will be dismissed from class. Subsequent violations will result in referral to the Office of Judicial Affairs, represented by the Director of Student Affairs at the Hazleton Campus, for further action.
